Does anyone know where this person has gone. A neighbour of his said that the whole family had gone abroad.
The reason we want to trace him is that he 'landscaped' our garden, not very well but offered us an insurance on the -plants that he laid for us at an additional cost of £300 or so. Some of the plants looked in bad shape so we tried phoning both on his mobile and landline, and also emailed him, but to no avail. We went round to his house and were told that he had gone off. So we paid our insurance to him, he knowing that he wouldn't be around to correct any poor or damaged plants.
In addition, he installed a pond for us. Having now seen what a professionally installed pond should look like we are appalled at what he has done.
The work he did for us amounted to several thousand pounds, and he took our money knowing that he would not be around to correct any problems.
Where-ever he is, be warned. We will let you know if he has seen this blog and come clean.

ReplyDeleteHe has now contacted me to say that he will be back in the UK for 3 weeks from 23rd June and will address all the problems and rectify them. I have told him that when this is done I will remove this blog. So watch this space!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust as we suspected, his promises have come to nothing. He didn't bother to make contact with us while he was in England and we are left out of pocket. A define 'David Bray' ROGUE TRADER. Out advise is 'DON'T DEAL WITH HIM' unless you want to be conned.
ReplyDeleteWe have had no end of problems with this coward of a man too. A friend of mine worked with his wife and I can confirm they have skipped country! But they often come back to the country ESP in summer time. He owes us thousands and has left our garden needing thousands of £ more work done on it to make it safe. We took a county court judgement out on him. It costs £80 but well worth it just for the satisfaction that you have done something that will negatively affect him should he move back to the country and want mortgage/loan etc!!'
